The audience of mobile application “Line” in Spain reached 10 million people

The creators of mobile application-communicator “Line” are ready to compete with a popular application “WhatsApp”. On the official Facebook profile of “Line” there is information claiming that the new application was downloaded by more than ten million users in Spain. “Line” managed to reach such index most likely due to hot debates about the main competitor of the new program in these latter days.

As the main reason of increase of the audience of “Line” experts consider the contradictory information about the possibility of introduction of an annual fee for using “WhatsApp”. As a result this unchecked information was confirmed and users of “WhatsApp” had to pay their familiar mobile application. In response to this news many people who really like to communicate with the help of mobile applications made their choice in favor of a free novelty.

The representatives of the company say that “Line” has no plans to start charging for the application – referencing to some rumors around “WhatsApp” adding subscription fees. Their approach of selling stickers in the application and offering official accounts to celebrities and brands seems to work fine for “Line”.
Besides, the increase of Spanish audience of the application was affected by a strong advertising campaign that was remember thanks to a TV spot with spanish actors Michelle Jenner and Hugo Silva.

“Line” is available for users of Android, iPhone, Windows Phone and BlackBerry operating systems as well as personal computers. The mobile application topped Apple Inc. (AAPL)’s rating of free downloads in forty one countries according to NHN.

“Line” reached the 100-million user mark nineteen months after it had debuted as compared to forty nine months for Twitter and fifty four months for Facebook according to NHN Japan.

Things to take into consideration while choosing between Joomla and Drupal

While choosing content management system for you future website the worst thing you can do is toss a coin between some of the most in-demand systems without understanding all the pros and cons of these solutions.

We are going to discuss how Joomla and Drupal are different and which one might be better for your specific needs.

The admin interface. While Joomla has one interface for controlling design, modules and content, Drupal has a control bar that at the top of the screen and it appears once the administrator has logged in. In my opinion, for inexperienced users it would be easier to operate in Joomla.

Flexibility. When it comes to flexibility Drupal is a clear winner. But it also can be a bit more complicated to manage at first, so don’t hesitate to turn to Drupal site development where professionals will help you in putting your website on track.

Out of the box solution. In case you need ready-to-go solution – Joomla is your content management system. Drupal sometimes requires installing modules, plugins and extensions for certain commonly used features.

Size of your website. If you have a large site with a lot of complex features and plugins or you are planning on developing your website into something massive, then Drupal is your choice. For small or middle-sides websites Florida Joomla web development offers much more comfortable approach.

Communities. Both Joomla and Drupal have enormous communities, and that is quite easy to notice if you look at the number of plugins, extensions and modules that are available for these systems. The only difference here is that while Drupal is less centralized Joomla has regularly updated central website where you can find all the information on this CMS.

Extensions. Even though both these systems are open source, all the Drupal extensions can be downloaded and used for free while Joomla has commercial extensions as well.

As for the learning curve, which is no doubt one of the most important factors, Drupal is harder to get used to, so if you don’t have experience in managing websites, Joomla is safer choice.

If you still have some doubts on which system to choose florida web development specialists will answer your questions.
